Mikhyle is a PhD candidate at the BIOR Lab at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He graduated from NUS with a Bachelor’s degree in Project & Facilities Management, further enhancing his expertise with a minor in Infrastructure Management & Finance. Prior to his PhD studies, Mikhyle gained valuable professional experience as a Programme & Project Management Consultant at Arup for over a year.
His professional experience is diverse and impactful. He has successfully contributed to a wide range of projects, including:
Construction & Development: As an Assistant Project Manager for Tetra Pak, he oversaw the design and construction of a 2000m2 New Product Development Center in Thailand, ensuring adherence to local regulations and successful project delivery.
Infrastructure & Logistics: He played a key role in designing an integrated cruise ferry terminal, focusing on optimizing logistics and operations to accommodate multiple vessels simultaneously.
Energy & Sustainability: He conducted feasibility studies for renewable energy projects, focusing on optimizing procurement strategies and ensuring adherence to environmental standards.
Technology & Data Centers: He contributed to the development of project management tools and supported the bidding process for new data centers.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mikhyle has a strong academic foundation. His undergraduate research explored the intersection of climate change and building design, focusing on the comparative analysis of green building rating systems. Furthermore, he contributed to Arup’s “Reimagining Resilience” whitepaper, which investigated circular economy frameworks for building retrofitting and repurposing in Southeast Asia.
