Dr. Hu attended the 2025 INFORMS International Meeting in Singapore, July 20-23 2025. INFORMS (Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences) is the largest professional association for the decision and data sciences.

He was invited to present a talk titled “Making Modern Buildings Grid-Responsive Using Data, Optimization, and Control” in the session “Advances in Optimization for Resilient and Data-Driven Power Systems.”
