June 2026 | BIOR Lab at BAS 2026 in Hong Kong

Our BIOR Lab members had a fruitful time in Hong Kong attending the International Conference on Building and Simulation (BAS 2026), held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 11-13 June 2026.

Extremely proud of our PhD student Qinhuan Liu for presenting his work on “Resilience-Informed Optimal PV-Battery Sizing for Grid-Responsive Building Communities Against Extreme Weather Events.”

Dr. Hu also chaired the session on Climate-Neutral Building Design and Assessment; Building–Grid Interaction.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our latest research, meet colleagues, and exchange ideas with the building simulation community.
