Oct 2026 | Great to host Assistant Professor Hussain Kazmi from KU Leuven, Belgium.

Excited to host Hussain Kazmi and his PhD students, Ada Canaydin and Margarida Mascarenhas, from the Department of Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven, Belgium, for a visit to our group at NUS this week.

During the research exchange session, Hussain introduced his lab’s research directions. Ada presented her work on data-driven weather models for short-term wind power forecasting, while Margarida discussed day-ahead electricity price forecasting in European markets. Qinhuan and Rezky from our BIOR group also presented their research on energy systems.

Thank you to Hussain, Ada, and Margarida for visiting us!
